Nov. 2011 Curation of Works by Donald Brackett
Culture critic, curator, past Executive Director of both Professional Art Dealers Association of Canada and Ontario Association of Art Galleries.

"Of course visual symbols can still be identified in Warburtons work, as well as what they connote for the viewer, but only by judging what unites and gives coherence to the entire work, not by seeking the programmatic, (a face, a table, a tree).

Instead , works such as A Different Perspective, Rooftop Haze and Citization, a hefty trio of urban mindscapes, all tend to heat up and melt together classical notions such as portrait, still life and landscape.

As abstractions, and as ideal examples of the uncertainty principle, they are crucible in which alloys such as streets, buildings, and skis burned together. Her work is that hot, perhaps being the residual evidence of such conceptual scalding."
